Elaine's Place
Elaine’s Place is named after the late Elaine Fischer. A longtime resident of Telluride for many years, she lost her battle with cancer in 2016. Elaine was a former mayor of Telluride, a member of the Telluride Town Council, and Chair of the Telluride Historic and Architectural Review Commission. On top of that, she was a strong advocate for early childhood education; we wanted to honor her by naming the center after her for all of the hard work she has put into changing young lives.
Our program encourages hands-on learning experiences for toddlers and we are committed to providing a safe and loving environment where the children can grow as humans. Our program will help prepare them for preschool & real-life situations. Our activities promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development. We take pride in helping create friendships and promote personal health and manners.
Elaine's Place is owned, operated, and subsidized by the Town of Telluride.
