[ARCHIVED] King & Queen of the Court Volleyball League Returns!

volleyball

League play will begin on January 10 and meet every Tuesday at 8:00 pm for 12 weeks until it’s finale on March 28, 2023.

The King & Queen of the Court Volleyball League is a competition between members of the same gender, but in a coed game format.  Teams are formed randomly, but with an equal number of men and women on each team by the program supervisor.  All individuals on a winning team are awarded the point differential of the game at hand to their individual scores. Points are accumulated throughout the season and, at the end of the season, the male and female player with the most points are crowned the King and Queen of the Court.  The King and Queen will each receive a $50 gift certificate for winning the league. Because the format is a league and consistent attendance is required, program enrollment is for the entire season and not walk-up.  Play will occur at the Intermediate School Gym and non-marking court shoes are required to participate.

Program registration will open on Thursday, December 15 at 3:00 pm.  To register, please visit the Telluride Parks & Recreation Website.  Space is limited so don’t hesitate to register if you’d like to play.  All players who enroll on the wait list will be included on the substitute list.
