Home Rule

The Town of Telluride is a home rule municipality. The Mayor and six council members are elected for four-year terms. The Mayor and Town Council members do not have offices at Town Hall.

The Town Council  2022 Meeting Calendar is set at the end of the year for the next calendar year. Meetings are held approximately every third Tuesday at Rebekah Hall, 113 West Columbia Avenue.

Due to the COVID-19  Pandemic, Town Council meetings will be held virtually until further notice. Information on how to join the meeting can be found at the top of each meeting agenda under "Meeting Information." Agendas are found through our Meeting Portal.

Town Council agendas and packets are posted and published on this website on the Friday preceding the meeting and can be downloaded through our Meeting Portal. Town Council meetings are also broadcasted on KOTO radio and via the Town's YouTube channel.

Notice Is Hereby Given That The Telluride Town Council, At A Regular Meeting On February 1, 2022 At Approximately 1:00pm, Via A Virtual Meeting, Will Consider Second Reading And Approval Of An Ordinance Of The Town Council Of The Town Of Telluride Colorado Amending The Telluride Municipal Code At Chapter 18 “Land Use Code” Within Article 2, Division 1 And 2 General Land Use Code Definitions; And Within Section 7-214 Wireless Telecommunications Services, Facilities And Equipment; And By Adding A New Article 6, Division 9 Licensing Of Small Cell Wireless Facilities. The Town Council Of The Town Of Telluride, Colorado Passed Ordinance #1545 An Ordinance Of The Town Council Of The Town Of Telluride, Colorado Amending The 2021 Municipal Budget By Making Supplemental Appropriations From Fund Balance And Revenue Received In Excess Of Those Estimated In 2021 Budget At The Regular Meeting On January 11, 2022.  Ordinance #1545 Shall Become Effective Upon The Date Of Publication Of Notice Of Its Passage, And Copies Of The New Ordinance Are Available At Town Hall
